Summer Festivals

All summer long there are a variety of festivals and events to attend in the region, some of the highlights include:

3rd week of June - Windham Summerfest, at Windham High School. Parade, fireworks, business expo, helicopter rides, kid's activities, crafter booths, skateboard competition, soccer tournament, softball games. www.windhamsummerfest.org

4th week of June - Standish Summer Spectacular. Parade, games, beach party with bands, community marketplace, bean supper, shows, fireworks and more. FMI: 642-2875.

June - Ongoing - Schoolhouse Arts Center, Sebago Village. Camps and Workshops for youth June - August;

July - Music on the Hill Concert Series, at Windham Hill UCC, 140 Windham Ctr. Road - 7PM showtime.

Independence Day celebrations - Parades in Naples (on the 4th) and Limington (on the 3rd); Fireworks at dusk.

2nd week of July - Ossipee Valley Agricultural Fair, Cornish

3rd week of July – Waterford World’s Fair.

Mid-July through mid-August - Raymond Village Library Annual Book Sale. Main Street and Route 121. Call 655-4283

3rd weekend of July - Sebago Days: Yard Sales and Chicken/Lobster Bake at Veteran's Park, Route 114. Call 595-8173

July and August - Free Summer Concerts every other Thursday behind Pennell School, Gray, 7 – 8pm.

1st Saturday in August - Annual Wooden Boat Show on Long Lake and Maine Rowing Association Regatta, Sebago Lake.

1st Saturday in August - Community BBQ hosted by Gray Fire Department.

3rd weekend in August – Newfield Old Home Day at 19th century Willowbrook Museum Village. Carnival games, carousel rides, concerts, historic craft demonstrations, more. Free admission to Willowbrook. FMI call 793-2784. www.willowbrookmuseum.org
